Just Breathe by Crimson Quintessence 2018

All the times I thought about you and I

Brings back all the memories, under the night sky

And on that night, we said good-bye

I can’t get past the times we forgot to try.

Now, here I sit lonely and cold

Wishing so much for us to be together growing old

Your arms around me, keeping me warm from the cold.

Telling our tales of love and laughter under a bright sun

Now, I can’t remember where we both came from

The storms, the screams and shames we both ran from

When it all came undone.

I walk the halls alone

The memories fading

All collectively scathing

I slide down the wall

I am caving

Coming undone, I am raging

Dropped to my knees, I am ready to grieve

All I wanted was you.

Just breathe.
