Let the Beast In by Crimson Quintessence

I go through the action

For your satisfaction

But the reality is

An insignificant fraction.

Stains on the walls

Stains on the floors

Splatter on the ceiling

Oh, what a feeling.

Death does come

For those who wait

It hovers around

By the garden gate.

Deep in the night

Feeding on hate

It posses no feeling

So, just you wait.

It floats through the air

Taking note of your habits.

It knocks on your door

And you reach out to grab it.

Patience it says

As you beg it to come

To release you from the hell

That you’ve put yourself in.

You’re just a mere mortal

Living with sin

Open the door

And let the beast in

Let it take over

It’s just what you want

Your soul

Give into it now

That pain you want out from?

It’s your eternity now.
