Concrete Sidewalks and Chemical Dreams

This piece was inspired by the Artwork of AnnThraxx

“Gauntlet” by AnnThraxx

Toothy, nasty, nude

gauntlet reflections

replying lithe

shadows recover.

Faintly, a destiny

jangles, smooth, weak,

tamed and bottled

 internal fires

crackling, freely, soft

rancorous, faceless

anarchic sorcerers chase

achy, the lost girl hums.

“Chemicals” by AnnThraxx

Screaming gatekeeper

of her soul

mumbling, dimly, snide demons

reawaken death.

Peaceful the devil

darkens, darkness, lost girl as she scatters childishly.

Harsh breeze endurance

commands a rise

big or small

rise swiftly.

Concrete sidewalks

hustle and flow

dusty and roughly

damn the busy city

lost girl alone
