Fragmented by Quintessence

I’m not ready

to compete with you

you’re too loud

you’re making me dizzy

you’re poison

You want me to do things I know I should not

They’re bad, those things

I’m not myself

It’s your fault

you twist everything

Tempting spins on your library of needs

using me as your deliverance

your vessel

your charge

How dare you.

 No, stop, no more

I can’t, it’s not right

You have me pacing back and forth

sweat upon my brow

biting my nails

licking my lips

knife in my hand

staring at him

possessing a hunter’s instinct

a rage

to kill.

Why are you doing this to me

this is not the way

shut up

get it done

It’s over

it was quick

there’s blood everywhere

he’s dead

I panic

You’ve done this

not me

it’s not my fault

you’re so fucking weak

you’re coming unglued

look at you

sniveling coward.

What would you do, without me

He hurt you

he deserved this

if not for me

you would still suffer at his hands

lift your head up

ungrateful bitch

you’ve survived

because of me

stepping in for you

in your moments of need

you’d be dead now

instead of him

remember that

now run, they’ll be coming for you.

  1. I often wondered what would happen if one’s inner demon had an argument with the inner angel. This was my result..
